Pounamu is a pilot from Gem Homeworld. As one of Yellow Diamond's senior pilots, she is a respected gem between her peers. She and her team is starting a colony by the means of organic reproduction in an unnamed distant planet.

Personality[]
While Pounamu is generally calm and reserved, with her closest friends, she can be pretty noisy. Outside of her comfort zone, however, Pounamu can be seen as ruthless, strict, and intelligent. She is a senior pilot, which means she is very knowledgeable of mechanical stuff. She is also very intricate and compulsive obssessive. Pounamu is also regarded as a decent leader, although sometimes she can be very manipulative and controlling.

- Pounamu was originally going to be Topazelite's take at an uncorrupted Centipeetle.
- It can also be seen in her design that she has some aspects inherited from Centipeetle, like the stripes on her arms and thighs, her spacesuit, and gloves, although of a different color.
